What this product is

State License Prep sells practice questions and timed exam simulations for state insurance licensing exams. You buy one fixed-term pass and practise as much as you like within it.

This is exam practice. It is not state-approved pre-licensing education, and it does not satisfy any pre-licensing course hours your state may require. If your state requires an approved course before you may sit the exam, you must take that course from a provider your state has approved. We are not affiliated with any state department of insurance or with any testing vendor.

Nothing here is legal, financial, or professional advice. Our questions and explanations cite the law they are drawn from so you can check them, but they are study material, not an authority. Where our explanation and the actual statute, rule, or exam content outline disagree, the official source is right and we are wrong — tell us at support@statelicenseprep.com and we will fix it.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee that you will pass. Our readiness score is an estimate built from your own answers, not a prediction and not a qualification. Exam content outlines change, and while we date-stamp every verified question against the outline it was written from, we cannot promise the bank matches the exam you sit on any given day.

Your account

One account is for one person. Signing in uses a code emailed to your address, so keep access to that mailbox — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deletion is permanent and removes your practice history along with the account. Deleting your account does not refund your purchase.

Using the question bank

The questions, explanations and citations are ours, written and reviewed by us. Your pass buys you personal study access to them. It does not let you:

• republish, sell, or share the questions, in whole or in part
• use the bank to build or train another product, including a machine-learning model
• scrape or bulk-download the content by any automated means
• share one account between several people

We may suspend an account that does these things. If we suspend an account for this reason we do not refund it.

Payment, term and refunds

The pass is a single payment for a fixed term, stated on the pricing page at the time you buy. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy. If we refund a purchase, access to the paid features ends. Your answer history is not deleted.

Availability

We run this as a small operation and do not promise uptime. We will not deliberately cut short a pass you have paid for. If we ever shut the product down, we will say so in advance and refund any unused, unexpired time.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects what you have already bought, we will email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows when the wording last changed.
